which must be obtained prior to initiation of study procedures\n* Plasma HIV-1 RNA levels ≥ 5,000 copies\u002FmL at screening\n* No prior use of any approved or investigational antiretroviral drug for any length of time\n* Screening genotype report must show sensitivity to FTC, TDF and ATV\n* Normal ECG\n* Adequate renal function (eGFR calculated using the Cockcroft-Gault equation ≥ 70 mL\u002Fmin)\n* Hepatic transaminases (AST and ALT) ≤ 5 x upper limit of normal (ULN)\n* Total bilirubin ≤ 1.5 mg\u002FdL, or normal direct bilirubin\n* Adequate hematologic function\n* Serum amylase ≤ 5 x ULN\n* Males and females of childbearing potential must agree to utilize highly effective contraception methods from screening throughout the duration of study treatment and for 30 days
